This little creature that looks like a kitten is actually a baby Pallas' cat. Because their fur is super long and thick, people often think they're much bigger than they really are. But in reality, they're about the same size as an average house cat. They even act a little like cats too, like begging humans for food. But they still keep that wild feline alertness and skittishness. They're pretty shy by nature. One funny thing about Pallas' cats, they love stepping on their own tails. That big fluffy tail isn't just for show. It's super important for keeping them warm. So putting their feet on it helps trap the heat. Kind of like how we stick our hands in our pockets when it's cold. Adorably relatable. Something unique about them is their ears. They're round and set wide apart. And they don't stick up much past the shape of their head. That helps them pick up sounds better. Especially when hunting. Their heads are really round, with a flat looking face. And their bodies are short, stocky, and super fluffy. Covered in thick, soft gray fur.
